With this mobile app, field workers can receive jobs sent to them from the TradesCloud web service and then update them in the field.
The app works in both online and offline mode, so if mobile coverage is unreliable, you can still get work done. The app displays the selected job on a map and will navigate the field worker to that job from their current position. The app can also be used for office managers to track the current location of field technicians who are using the app.
The app enables field workers to clock on and clock off jobs, and will automatically create their time sheets from this information. Jobs can be updated with the materials and labour used and new items can be added from price lists created on the TradesCloud web service.
Supporting evidence, such as photos, signatures and site reports can be added to jobs. Requirements for collection of evidence and materials and / or labour can be mandated for a given job enabling company processes to be enforced.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
